Player of Day 12/27

GERALD WALLACE/KEVIN LOVE

Yeah we do have a tie, but rightfully so.

The Blazers are off to a 2-0 start. And Gerald Wallace has been on the attack each night. Last night versus the Kings that dismantled the Lakers a night before, Wallace played well, filling up the stat sheet as he usually does 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals (8/11 fg’s, 8/9 ft’s), leading the Blazers to a 101-79 victory. That 47-19 prediction still seems like a good one.

If you thought that Kevin Love’s 20-20, 30-20, and 30-30 games from a year ago were a fluke, you’re sadly mistaken. 2 games in and he picked up precisely where he left off at a season ago. 31 points, 20 rebounds (19/24 ft’s) in a tough road loss to the rival Milwaukee Bucks 98-95. We don’t like to reward losers with a player of the day but we couldn’t overlook a 30 and 20 performance.

Swishhhhh
